OpenAI will be the first client of TCS HyperVault, deploying 100 MW of AI-ready capacity initially, with plans to scale to 1 GW. This infrastructure build supports data residency and critical workloads, integrating India into its Stargate global compute network. Anthropic opened a Bengaluru office and has doubled revenue since its India push began, with nearly half its AI usage in India focused on coding, math, and systems tasks.
Anthropic’s CEO highlighted India’s unique scale and technical user base as ideal for extensive AI experimentation and advancing work in 10 Indic languages with local partners.
