Anthropic announced on February 13 it closed a $30 billion Series G funding round, lifting its valuation to $380 billion, more than doubling its September 2025 valuation and becoming the second largest private tech fundraising after OpenAI.
The fundraising included $10 billion from NVIDIA and $5 billion from Microsoft, initially revealed in November 2025. The capital will be used for advanced research, product development, and infrastructure expansion.
This valuation surge followed the February release of Claude Opus 4.6, Anthropic’s flagship AI model featuring a one million token context window in testing. It demonstrated notable improvements in long context queries, reasoning, and planning.
Claude Opus 4.6 is positioned for enterprise workflows that require complex data synthesis across regulatory and market reports. It is the only AI model available on AWS Bedrock, Google Cloud Vertex AI, and Microsoft Azure Foundry.
